Okay, I have to take an oral communications class for Nursing at University of Memphis. Its a Saturday class and I’m cool with that. I took Speech Honors class in 8th grade and did this before but I forgot? I think. I know that it is easy to give commemorative speech and weddings and re unions and stuff but what topic would I have to focus on (any suggestions will greatly be appreciated) when I give this speech in a classroom full of people I don’t know?

Frangipani flowers, sometimes known as Plumeria, are elegant, beautiful and a colorful addition to any wedding ceremony, reception or luncheon. The color variations with the Frangipani flowers make them ideal in all types of themed weddings from the very formal, traditional white weddings through the casual summer garden and backyard weddings. These popular and very hardy flowers are easy to design with plus they add a touch of romance or color to the front of Frangipani wedding invitations to set the tone.
Plumeria come in a wide range of colors so are very easy to integrate into any theme or style of wedding. White and pale yellow flowers can be used in traditional weddings and they are absolutely gorgeous in candlelight. This romantic theme can even be carried out on the Frangipani wedding invitations with a pale colored yellow or white cluster of flowers featured both on the front of the invitation as well as one the inside. Dramatic black font in a traditional or calligraphy style will draw attention to the invitation and make a one of a kind presentation. Black can also be used to highlight the background where the flowers are located on the card, or they can form a stylized or embossed border around the card.
The Frangipani flower is actually used to make leis in Hawaii and it can also be incorporated into wreaths, garlands and other types of decorations on the head table, guest’s tables and during the ceremony. If you are planning a Hawaiian or garden party for the reception, adding Frangipani flowers is a must, plus they can be used on the wedding invitation to add that perfect additional touch. For these invitations a central Frangipani design on the invitation can’t help but stir up visions of a tropical wedding complete with this popular flower.
Unlike many types of invitations, Frangipani wedding invitations are not too feminine or flowery to be seen as a couple’s invitation. Perhaps because the flowers are so vibrant and festive, they avoid appearing too much like the bride picked the invitations without consulting the groom. As with any type of wedding invitation it is important to consider how to incorporate the theme of the card with the rest of the wedding party, and the Plumeria flower definitely lends itself to this. Grooms and groomsmen’s boutonnieres as well as the arrangements carried by the bride, bridesmaids and even the parents of the groom and bride can all tie in with the Frangipani flowers on the wedding invitations. They can also blend in with other more traditional wedding floral choices so you don’t have to worry about staying exclusively with the specific species of flower.
Selecting the style of the invitation also includes the actual shape of the invitation. Longer rectangular shaped cards are becoming more popular and allow you to highlight the visual aspect of the card. Square Frangipani cards are more traditional, however it is really a choice of the bride and groom which shape fits their style.
Don’t forget that along with the theme of Frangipani on the wedding invitations the same theme can be used in place cards, RSVP cards, envelops, wedding announcements and thank you cards. If you do want to have this full range of options for all the stationary you will need for your wedding, be sure to check in with your supplier to ensure these options are provided. Typically those stationary companies providing wedding stationary will be able to work with you on pricing of each item if you buy all the stationary at one time, rather than just buying a bit at a time. Talk with the representative and try out different options to get the best possible price for the cards and style that you want.

If you’re a bride with a creative side, chances are that you have some wedding favor ideasfor your reception already in mind. Maybe you imagine something chocolate and decadent, maybe you have a practical side that you want to express. In any event, if you haven’t already made a decision or a purchase, then how do you go about making those wedding favor ideas of your own come to life? What are some tips and hints, and what are some things to avoid?
Wedding Favor Ideas Should be Unique
There’s nothing wrong with being inspired by a wedding you saw of your favorite celebrity, or a photo in a bride’s magazine, or even something at a wedding you’ve attended yourself. But the bottom line is that your wedding favor ideas need to tailored to your own personality, to the personality of your groom, and the two of you as a couple.
For example, you may have seen a very decadent gift of chocolate truffles being given away at a celebrity’s wedding. Depending on the brand of chocolates, chances are they paid thousands and thousands of dollars for those gifts. Unless you have that kind of money to spend on favors, you may want to scale yours back a bit.
In a case like that, some good wedding favor ideas might be smaller boxes of more inexpensive chocolates. Brands such as Russell Stover or Fannie Mae are very good but are a bit more affordable. The boxes can be wrapped with wrapping paper you get from a store for a festive look. Tie them with some thick silver or gold ribbon and they are now an elegant take-home gift for your guests.
Additionally, you can still tailor your wedding favor ideas to include customized candy bar wrappers for chocolate bars. This trend in wedding favors is one that has really caught fire in recent years, since some of the larger companies offer so many different designs that you’re sure to find one that expresses your personality. For example, if you search on The Knot or Wed Alert, you can find several different types of wrappers being offered. One of the internet’s leading candy bar wrapper companies, www.FavorsAndWraps.com, has over 150 different designs that feature flowers, beach scenes, autumn scenes, art deco designs, fun and whimsical designs, along with some traditional and very elegant ones as well. Whether your wedding favor ideas include something traditional, something fun, or something that celebrates nature, you’re sure to find something just right for you.
Your wedding favor ideas should also incorporate some of the same elements from your wedding, such as the choice of flowers or the colors you’ve picked. For example, if your bouquet is all roses, then of course you would want to use roses in your wedding favor ideas. It would make no sense to wrap your chocolate boxes or choose custom candy wrappers that have daisies or irises as part of their design. Additionally, if your bridesmaids’ dresses and other colors in your wedding are soft pastels, these colors should be reflected in your wedding favors. If you’re a bride that has opted for stronger, bolder colors, then remember this same point. Don’t use traditional wraps with silver and gold for your favors if your bridesmaids are all wearing black or cherry red.
Making Your Own
You may opt to assemble or create your own favors if you can’t find just what you’re looking for, or have a strong creative side and want to do this type of thing for yourself and your guests. In this case, making your wedding favor ideas come to life will take a bit more planning and consideration. It’s very easy to underestimate the time, effort, and money involved in creating your own favors.
For example, if you have the idea of getting foil-wrapped chocolates and placing them in a tulle bag to wrap with ribbon, this can be a very beautiful item. However, have you figured how many guests you’re expecting, and how much wrapped chocolate you will need for that number? How much ribbon will you need? How much time will this take you, and where will you store the chocolate before the reception?
This isn’t meant to scare you off from going through with your own wedding favor ideas, as this can be a great way to add personality and style to your reception. Additionally, there is no end to your options for making these items uniquely you. In the case of tulle bags filled with chocolate, you can skip the ribbon and use strands of crystal beads to tie them for a more elegant touch. Or if you want to express your fun side, choose an oversized Hershey’s Kiss instead. The possibilities are endless.
What to Avoid With Your Own Wedding Favor Ideas
There are some things that should be avoided when considering your wedding favor ideas. For one thing, it’s tempting to simply get whatever you want without any thought or considering of your own budget. It’s easy to think that you can spend what you want since your wedding is going to happen only once (hopefully) in your life, but starting out your new life deeply in debt can only add tension to your relationship down the road.
Additionally, you want favors that are going to match your overall theme and feel of your wedding. Don’t indulge in wedding favors that are fun and funky if your wedding is traditional and elegant. You can find things that are very affordable and still look beautiful at the same time.
And lastly, make sure that your wedding favor ideas are practical and can be accomplished. You may think up some extravagant gift idea that requires hours and hours of preparation and assembly, and assume that your bridesmaids and friends will be willing to pitch in and help, but remember that they may already be somewhat stressed themselves with all the other responsibilities they have for your wedding.
If you keep all these thoughts in mind, you’re sure to find a creative, fun, and elegant way to bring to life your own wedding favor ideas.

When we talk about outdoor wedding, there are plenty of choices. For example, you may consider having a wedding in a garden. In fact, another popular choice for outdoor wedding is a beach theme wedding.
In fact, planning for a beach wedding is just like planning for a wedding for other themes. You will have to consider a lot of things. You will need to first of all think about the venue. Of course in this case you will be searching for a beach. You will also need to think about the entertainment in your wedding. It is certain than you will try to make your wedding invitation cards and wedding favor as perfect as possible. Another items you should pay extra attention to will probably be your wedding cake.
As a matter of fact, you will try to make the wedding cake match your wedding theme. This should be your prime concern when you are searching for the wedding cake.
Yet you do not only consider the style of the cake. It is very important for you to consider the size of the cake. In fact, no matter you are planning for a beach wedding of not, you will need to think about the size of the cake. The size of the cake will of course depend on the number of guests you are going to invite. You will not try to order a cake which is too big because there will be a lot of waste. On the other hand, you will not try to order a cake which is not enough for the guests.
Now, let us talk about the style of the cake. As mentioned, you will try to make the cake match your wedding theme. It is not difficult to do so. There are a lot of bakeries which will create cakes that match a beach wedding theme. Of course you may also consider hiring your own cake designer to help you. The cake should be just like a sculpture on the beach. This will certainly make your wedding more memorable.
You can also try to find some special wedding cake toppers for your cake. Cake toppers in the shape of starfish or shells will certainly be preferred. Of course this will not be a common choice if you are not planning for a beach wedding. Yet it will match your theme well if you are planning to have your big day on a beach. Another idea for the cake topper will be a couple who dress like two divers. This can also be quite interesting as your cake topper.
One thing you need to be very careful is that your cake will melt easily if you are having your wedding in a sunny day. It is suggested that you do not choose ice-cream for your wedding cake. Besides, you should keep your cake in the fringe before you cut it and serve it to your guests. Make sure that you will cover it well since the cake will be covered with a layer of sand if you co not cover the cake well.

(i am friendly tho!!) Two: when does a bartender usually work, what time? i go to sleep ususally early b4 midnight and i dont want to ruin my sleep patterns by goin to bed at like 4 am. Three: how do i actually apply, where do i learn, how long does training take etc. ? Thanks alot………..xx

There are five key tips for setting up bridal accessories, which can be seen as the key to any successful wedding.
1. The first is the theme you plan to choose for your accessories. Many people like to have a kind of themed wedding, and if this is an idea that appeals to you, you will have to define it very specifically. It should go without saying that the more exotic the theme, the harder it will be to shop for it, so whatever you opt for should not require too much devotion of your time, or else the rest of your wedding will noticably suffer.
2. The next tip is to select the clothing, involving dress, a headpiece, your flowers of choice, shoes. Naturally you will want to pick an outfit that is congruent with your theme, if you op tot go with one. Naturally you should also pick flowers that go with your setting. For example if you opted to go with a Mediterranean theme, then you might want to opt for flowers native to Greece or Italy.
3. Naturally the third piece of advice comes in the form of the ceremony. Because of the frequent attempts to break from the norm, you may want to take on an unconventional, themed service as mentioned before. You will want to arrange the entire ceremony and the vow service to best conform with your selected scenery and setting, so you are not likely to have your guests and attendants dress in heavy tuxedo garb if you choose a beach setting.
4. Fourth, you will want to consider the reception. The reception’s theme needs to closely mirror that of your ceremony, as it will both make the guests comfortable and help add to the memories. You will want to make sure that the decorations, the tables, and the overall scene closely mirror that of the rest of the day. The devil is largely in the details of course, so the best way to insure the maximum effect from your themed wedding is to make sure you’ve thoroughly planned every aspect of it, from ceremony to honey moon.
5. The final tip is, naturally, the honeymoon. It should go without saying – hopefully – that it will take place in some place other than the reception or ceremony, but many people have enjoyed maintaining the integrity of their theme here. Some people opt for a hotel, others the comfort of their own home, but no matter which you choose, you have free reign to decorate it out to you heart’s content to maintaing the setting. It is not unheard of for the very lingerie the bride selects to be a part of the selected theme.
With these five tips, you should be armed with everything you need to have the best themed wedding you could hope for.

There are many different ideas when it comes to wedding invitations, so it is important to look at the style that fits best, before you decide which invitations to send out. Wedding invitations are an important part of the wedding planning process because it provides your guests with valuable information about the ceremony. These ten commonly used invitation styles can help you find the best choice for your wedding.
Traditional
The traditional themed wedding invitation is making a comeback because of its simplicity, which many couples like to have. The traditional wedding invitation is a rectangular shape made from one sheet. This style generally has printing on the front of the invitation in a scripted font without any other decorations or designs. Although it is very simple and plain to look at, the couples who choose it do so for its simplicity. This is also a style typically used with formal weddings.
Contemporary
The contemporary wedding invitation is something that is drastically different from the traditional style. It is a wedding invitation that can be in any shape and in any size, and the couples usually choose it because they can customize it to their own needs and wants. This style is perfect for destination weddings. The couple may also choose to incorporate a picture on the invitation. There are many excellent choices available when choosing a modern themed wedding invitation.
One Fold
Invitations that fold in half are also very common today. On the front of the invite, there is usually a quote or lyrics from a song, or even a picture. When the invite is unfolded, the information important information about the wedding can be found. These can be opened sideways, like a traditional greeting card, or it can be opened top to bottom. Either way, many couples are choosing to use them.
Two Fold
Two fold wedding invitations were not used in the past because they take up a lot of room and can be heavy and expensive to buy. However, many couples have started to use them, especially if they can print the invitations all by themselves. These are designs that have a lot more information than the traditional invitations, because the have more room. The first fold usually has information about the couple, and the middle fold usually has information about the wedding itself.
Religious
For very religious weddings, designs like crosses and religious symbols are becoming very important to use on wedding invitations. You can find many different design elements that include religious items or symbols, and if this is something that is very important to you and your spouse-to-be, it is important to use a wedding invitation that matches your needs.
Cultural
Many people are putting cultural ideas or decorations onto their wedding invitations because they want to celebrate the mixture of two different cultures in their wedding. These can include using Celtic knots as decoration, or even using traditional colors and designs of the Native Americans. Either way, using cultural designs on wedding invitations is becoming quite popular.
Theme Oriented
A big idea when it comes to wedding invitations is to incorporate the theme into the actual invitation itself. This can mean fall leaves on an invitation, or invitations in the shape of snowflakes for a winter wedding. It can also mean a beach scene on the wedding invitation to indicate that the wedding takes place on the beach.
Transparent
A newer addition to wedding invitations are invitations that have transparent sheets added to them. A wedding invite might have a photograph underneath a semi-transparent sheet of film over the top of it. This adds depth to the wedding invitation and makes it much more fancy and interesting to look at. It can be an idea for a formal or informal wedding.
Illustrated
Another idea that is hitting the market when it comes to wedding invitations is the illustrated invitations. These have either a picture of the couple on the invitation, or a drawing of them or something else on the invite. Because illustrations were not normally used for wedding invitations, the illustrations on these types of invitations can be very interesting and can make for a completely different theme when it comes to wedding invites in general.
Non-Conventional
There are several different non-conventional wedding invitations that are out there on the market today, and couples who seek to be completely different usually do these. Often, they are used for destination weddings, as they often incorporate the overall theme. They can be airline tickets that fit into a pocket, messages in a bottle, or even cloth and paper leaves with the wedding information written on them. Non-conventional wedding invitations are usually done by hand or they are purchased one at a time, so they can be quite expensive.
